We are inviting the first group of serious writers to help shape a platform that respects creators and gives new work a real chance to be discovered. ZhiTu is starting with 100 founding authors to build a literary community around work, creator growth and durable reader relationships.
Selection focuses on seriousness and participation, not follower counts or existing fame alone.
Why this program exists
A new platform does not need the largest catalogue first. It needs a committed group of writers who keep creating, exchange feedback and build relationships with readers. The first 100 authors are not a registration statistic; they are early builders of ZhiTu’s content ecosystem, product feedback loop and community culture.
Who we are looking for
- New writers looking for the first real readers for their first or early works.
- Writers already publishing on other platforms, newsletters, blogs or personal sites who want more autonomy.
- Overseas Chinese-language, student, cross-cultural and bilingual creators.
- Creators of fiction across literary, romance, mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, xianxia, history and other original storytelling genres.
- Writers willing to publish seriously, listen to real reader feedback and help us improve the platform.

Register with an email where we can reach you. Your pen name may differ from your legal name.
Complete your author profile
Add a short bio, genres and core public profile information.
Publish or prepare a work
It may be a new serial or an existing original work for which you retain publishing rights.
Create and participate
Keep writing, engage with reader feedback and show your intention to build over time.
Our basic principles
Creators retain copyright in their original work; platform permissions are limited to what is necessary to provide, display and distribute the service.
Early creator relationships are built on openness and long-term trust, not on preventing writers from growing through other suitable channels.
Lack of historical traffic should not mean lack of opportunity to be discovered.
We value consistent creation, genuine reading and reader relationships over short-term inflated numbers.

Do I need to be a professional author?
No. We especially welcome emerging writers who take their work seriously.
Can I join if my work is already published elsewhere?
Yes, provided you retain the right to publish it and comply with any existing agreements you have with other platforms.
Must I write in Chinese?
Chinese-language creation is the current core, while support for English and multilingual work is being developed progressively.
Is there a fee to join?
There is no fee to join the Founding Authors Program itself.
Is recommendation or income guaranteed?
No. ZhiTu provides discovery mechanisms and growth infrastructure, but does not guarantee traffic, rankings, revenue or investment returns.
